Family Reunion--Catching up

Because the girls normally do the blogging everything is backwards, so start at the bottom and work your way up. This was just a brief highlight of our trip to Idaho this summer. When we got home we realized that the majority of our pictures were deleted, we were devastated! Here's to summer vacations!!!!

This was our last fun stop on the way back to Texas. We were able to watch the Joseph Smith film and see the beautiful statue of Christ, it was very memorable.

We ran hard everyday trying to get in as much as possible, here was our car on a typical day in Idaho.

Uncle Ryan, JP and Derek had some little man bikes and were very generous to let the Whiting boys ride. Nelson and Rhett were feeling pretty awesome as they don't have any motorcycles to ride in Texas. They were naturals at riding, they had a GREAT time. We couldn't get them off, they rode all day long!!! I was happy as their were no accidnets!

Mackenzie redeemed herself and moved up to Grandpa Kerlee's four wheeler. This is where we spent three more days camping, this time with the Bastian side.

Mackenzie was a little nervous about riding a motorcycle, so she started with training wheels. Lillie also drove this motorcycle by herself, she is four, Mackenzie 15.

Patten likes to prove that he is still the strongest!

These boys had a great time catching up and playing hard. They all got to sleep in the same tent and they loved every minute of it. It was hard to say good by.

Notice Rhett has a sweatshirt on, we were literally freezing during our camping trip. Uncle Brett and Aunt Jen saved us with their extra blankets and heated tent trailer, Texas has made us soft.

Our first week in Idaho was spent camping with the Whitings in Cascade. We thought it would be a wonderful idea to go swimming. Little did we know that it was so cold it brought tears to our eyes. Mackenzie was the epitome of, why are we doing this again?

Lillie decided that Grandpa needed a new dew! Grandpa was very patient as Lillie combed his scalp numb!
