Patten just started playing the Bass this year in Orchestra. He is a perfect fit for the large instrument. He is really enjoying learning how to play it especially since Curtis is having just as much fun learning how to play it as well. Curtis helps Patten with the music and Patten help Curtis with finger placement, etc. They are having some nice bonding moments. Recently Patten has been feeling the side effects of a busy schedule. He tried out for football this season and made the A-team. Frankly we were not surprised, he is the biggest kid on the team! After football practice he is wiped out, but he still has homework and Base practice. Here he is giving all he has left.
I played the bass for a year and a half! It was pretty fun! Good luck with that Patten and Curtis!
