Longhorn Scholarship

Every year students that keep straight A's (3-8Th grade)get one hundred dollars from the University of Texas. When they graduate the money is there for them, if they attend UT the money is doubled. This is Patten's third time receiving the award. Macy was unable to attend as she had a basketball game, it was her fourth time receiving the scholarship! Mackenzie and Nelson have also received this award before as well. It is a nice evening, the kids are recognized, fed a catered meal and get a trophy.
