STEM

Mackenzie attends a high school where the kids have to choose an academy to study. She chose engineering,STEM, and they just cut the ribbon on the new building. This is all very exciting as Mackenzie is one of three girls in her grade level. A representivne from Texas Instruments and MIT are funding this engineering program and they basically told us Mackenzie is guaranteed a scholarship and job because their are so few females in the field. Because the school is in partnership with the TI and MIT they have professional engineers come in and teach and also have them work on the assignments that they are working on. Its just amazing!!!!!!!
