For the Young Womens New Beginnings program this year, they did the play the Wizard of Oz. They changed the theme from getting home to getting to the temple and added a few songs here and there. Since there are a lot of young women in our ward, only a few of them got parts. The leaders got to pick the parts and the girls didn't get any input. We were all thrilled to hear that Macy got the part of the Wicked Witch!!!( Although we are still wondering what there trying to tell us by this!)
